As the tours generally cover a certain amount of urban areas, they are not hazard free. However, all routes are carefully designed to minimise if not eliminate hazards, such as maximiasing the use of available, priority or dedicated cycle lanes, chosing quiet streets over busy ones, and sometimes using cycle paths that are separate to and away from any streets. Where there are obvious hazards, such as at busy junctions, guests’ safety wil always take priotity and will dismount from the bikes from time to time if necessary. The guide holds a ride leader certificate issued by Cycling Ireland, for aditional safey and assurnace of the guests.
